Annotation This article provides an overview of the event management concept in supply chains. The management of organizational change in supply chains can be based on five basic approaches. Supply Chain Event Management is the creation and management of supply chain events. The concept of SCEM involves tracing objects, which are defined as reference points, across multiple events. SCEM is an integration of the following aspects: monitoring; notification; modelling; control; measurement. The study shows that this system is beneficial for supply chain management
