A fragment of the discussion on the problem of radioactive waste disposal (highly active and long-lived) on the banks of the Yenisei is given. Within the framework of the discussion formulated a number of basic questions with comments. The questions actualize the international experience, historical analysis and forecast of the future, methodology for selecting sites and technologies for RW disposal, mining and geological data, plans of the state corporation Rosatom, comparison of nuclear regions with fuel cycle enterprises and without them, public\'s influence on the solution of the problem. The review is addressed to the scientific and technical community, government bodies and nuclear industry managers of countries with radioactive waste. |
