| Annotation |
The economic and social results of capital investments directed to the tourist and recreational complex are determined. A methodology is proposed for assessing the social and economic efficiency of investments directed to the tourist and recreational complex, designed to strengthen and prevent the health of recreants. Due to the necessity the social and economic effect with capital investments in the tourist and recreation complex and indicators of operating costs was measured, as well as the indicators of social effect in value terms were determined. To assess the collateral economic effect, it is proposed to analyze the indicators of reducing temporary disability and increasing the productivity of workers who receive treatment and rest at the TRC enterprises in the conditions of other factors’ invariability. It is proposed to determine, on the basis of the retrospective method, immediate results characterizing the changes in the state of consumers of services that occurred at the sanatorium-resort institution by the end of the course of treatment or rest and the long-term results showing the duration of the therapeutic effect after the end of treatment. Due to the necessity the additional costs for the construction of TRC facilities with the additional national income, resulting from the reduction of morbidity and increase in labor productivity, were commensurated. The peculiarities of recreational services as a process of creating a new product differing in its specific use value and satisfying a particular kind of needs are considered, as well as various forms and means of serving recreants. The stages of the process of providing basic services in sanatorium and resort and tourist enterprises and the problems of managing the quality of recreational services as the main factor for improving the social and economic efficiency of recreational facilities were studied |
