Dolgonosov Viktor Nikolaevich

 Associate Professor of the Department of MD&G, Doctor of Technical Sciences.

In 1987, he graduated with honors from the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Mine Surveying and was awarded the qualification of Mining Engineer-Mine Surveyor. Works at the Department of MD&G from 1987 to the present. Gives lectures in the disciplines: “Geomechanics”, “Physics and Mechanics of Rocks”, “Mine Surveying”, “Theory of Mathematical Processing of Geodetic Measurements” and “Analysis of the Accuracy of Mine Surveying Works”.

In 2004, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic “Improving the method for calculating the stability of quarry slopes on a weak inclined foundation” in the specialty 25.00.16 – “Mining and oil and gas field geology, geophysics, surveying and subsoil geometry.”

Awarded the “Miner’s Glory” badge, III degree, on August 18, 2009.

In 2010 defended his doctoral dissertation, Doctor of Technical Sciences since June 29, 2010.

From 05/04/2011 awarded the title of associate professor of KNASON MES RK, associate professor in the specialty of geodesy and mine surveying

Dolgonosov V.N. takes an active part in the research work of the MD&G Department of KarSTU as part of the implementation of contractual work with mining enterprises in Kazakhstan. He is engaged in scientific activities with undergraduates in the specialty 6M074900 – “Mine Surveying.” Over 170 scientific papers, 8 co-authored monographs, 6 textbooks, 4 books certified by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and more than 50 methodological instructions, IV, BV and SL have been published.

He was awarded the medal “Laureate of the Academy of Mining Sciences” and was awarded the A.M. Terpigorev Prize on October 29, 2011.
