In 1970 he graduated from the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute. From 1970 – 2005 worked at JSC PIMCU as a geological engineer, senior geologist, chief mine geologist, deputy. chief geologist of the association, head of the production department of the association, chief geologist of the association, director of science of the association.
Since 1998 he has been working at ZabSU (ChitSU) as a professor at the PRMPI department. From 1998 to 2007 as a part-time worker, from 2007 to the present as a professor. Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences since 2001.
Author of more than 180 scientific papers: incl. 8 inventions, 11 guidelines and teaching aids, 5 monographs.
Awards: veteran of the Russian nuclear industry, full holder of the 3rd degree of the “Miner’s Glory” badge, holder of the silver badge of the “300th anniversary of the Russian mining industry”, awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 4th degree, title of “Honorary Worker of Transbaikal State University” .
Scientific interests: Increasing the efficiency of mining rock ores of uranium deposits, physical-technical and physical-chemical geotechnology, mining geology.
