Professor of the Department of Mineral Processing and Secondary Raw Materials.

Member of the editorial board, expert in the earth science section of the journal “Bulletin of Transbaikal State University”, corresponding member of the International Academy of Mineral Resources.

Academic degree: Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences.

Direction of training and specialty: Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute, 1965; geology and mineral exploration; mining engineer-geologist.

Disciplines taught: Geology; Geomechanics; Metrology, Standardization and certification in mining.

Developing scientific directions: industrial zeolite content and volumetric minerageny of Transbaikalia. Founder of the zeolite and antimony subprovinces, discoverer of deposits of polymetals, gold, fluorite, zeolites, and non-metallic raw materials. At the unique open Shivirtui deposit he explored the largest reserves of zeolites in Russia.

Main publications: author of 166 published and stock works, 7 monographs, 2 textbooks.

Awards: medal for valiant labor in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin (1970); medal “Veteran of Labor” (1986); Medal of the Prize Laureate of the Council of Ministers of the USSR (1990); badge “Excellence in subsoil exploration” (03/07/1995); medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree (08/08/1997); sign “300 years of the Russian Mining and Geological Service”; badge “Honorary Mineral Prospector” (05/28/2009).
