Annotation The research of various aspects of such a socio-political phenomenon as “youth parliamentarism” has been a constant focus of intensive study within the framework of national socio-humanitarian knowledge for the past fifteen years. According to the authors, this state of affairs can be explained by a number of interrelated circumstances. First, young people are considered a part of the Russia’s domestic policy implementation by public authorities as well as a fundamental driving force for the modernization of social and political processes in the medium and long term due to specific characteristics that are unique to them as a special socio-demographic group (social, labour and migration mobility, ability to adapt as quickly as possible to changing environmental conditions, the highest degree of readiness to improve and comprehend new things, and others). Secondly, it is youth parliamentarism that can become the main model of direct interaction between young people and public authorities in RF at the Federal, regional and municipal levels, as well as a technology for including representatives of the younger generation among the direct actors of socio-political practices in the. Thirdly, despite the existence of a number of studies on certain aspects of youth parliamentarism in the scientific and expert environment in Russia, there is clearly a lack of works devoted to a complex and comprehensive study of this Institute. Taking into account the above mentioned, the authors have attempted to analyze the youth parliamentarism of Russia at the present stage in the most conceptualized form, without paying special attention to any specific characteristic of this phenomenon
