Annotation A comprehensive analysis of the concept of “articulation of interests” is given. An attempt is made to consider the studied category in the aspect of the state educational policy in the field of additional professional education. The article substantiates the relevance of articulating the interests of state and public structures in the process of forming and implementing the state educational policy. The author identifies the actors of the state educational policy in the field of additional professional education. Groups of interests represented by actors in the implementation of the state educational policy are formulated. The structure of educational policy in the field of additional professional education is considered and the content of each component is determined, which makes it possible to study educational policy as a socially significant system that adequately reflects the interests of its leading actors: individuals, society, business structures and the state. The range of organizations that can conduct public and professional accreditation of educational programs has been clarified. An attempt is made to identify problems of representation of interests in the state educational policy in the field of additional professional education in Russia. On the basis of the analysis, proposals were made to optimize the articulation of the state educational policy in the field of additional professional education. The political analysis of the agenda of the government of the Russian Federation on the formation and implementation of strategic directions of the state educational policy in the field of additional professional education was carried out. The article considers normative and political documents that specify key and at the same time crucial state decisions for the national continuing education of adults
