Annotation An overview of the main trends in the formation and development prospects of the advertising market of the Russian Federation is given. The basic conditions for the formation and development of the advertising market are described. The subjects of the advertising market are selected. The dynamics of the advertising market in its main segments is analyzed. The connection of the market development with external indicators is revealed. The main trends in the development of the advertising market abroad are considered. The correlation analysis has been used by the authors. As a practical result, the equations of trends in the development of the advertising market segments in Russia are derived, which can be used in forecasting the development of the advertising industry by government agencies and firms participating in the advertising market
