Annotation The article presents some results of investigations of chemical composition of the waters of quarry lakes, formed after the Zavitinskое lithium-beryllium deposit mining (Transbaikal region). The data on physico-chemical parameters of technological water are obtained. The content of abnormal concentrations of lithium and strontium is stated, in isolated cases – the content of beryllium. The content of trace elements in the quarry waters with respect to the standards of maximum permissible concentrations (MPC) of chemicals for water bodies of economic, drinking and fishery values is defined.
