The article is devoted to questions of efficiency of interaction between administrations and small and medium business in municipalities on the example of the Transbaikal region. With the use of statistical data, the role of small business as the driving force for the development of the territory is justified: through diversification of the economy, employment of the population, production of goods and services for local consumption, tax revenues to the budget. It is noted that it is necessary to apply a scientific approach in support of small business, while emphasizing the importance of studying this issue in terms of the local level of power. The results of the survey are presented and analyzed, entrepreneurs and representatives of local governments (heads and specialists of administrations of municipalities) of the Transbaikal region were involved in it. The results of the research presented in the article in the form of diagrams and tables concern the following issues: direct interaction of government and business; channels of interaction; awareness of the activities of small business support organizations; rendered support measures; problems that impede the development of small businesses, and ways to resolve them. It is established that the interests of local authorities aimed at economic development of the territory should be related to entrepreneurship. It was concluded that there are significant contradictions in the opinions of representatives of business and local administrations on the issues of the activities of the authorities. A low degree of involvement of heads of municipalities with entrepreneurs was revealed. A number of problems of interaction between government and business were noted, and ways to improve the effectiveness of this interaction were proposed: including through collective expert activities in municipalities |
