Annotation The concept of the propaganda activities efficiency is necessary to reveal the dependence of the propaganda efficiency from the nature and characteristics of national mentality and to justify nationally based peculiarities of propaganda activity in the US and China. The discussed problem is actual because manipulative propaganda opportunities of propaganda, implemented through information and stereotypes are used. Propaganda must be aimed at a specific environment, as, for example, those outreach methods that work for one nation will not always work for other, and Vice versa
