Annotation A brief description of the research project «Human Genome» is given and the possibilities of creating a similar «Genome of deposits» are estimated. It has been shown that the implementation of the project «Genome of deposits» is possible, deciphering the hereditary material enclosed in the minerals of the deposits, investigating their typomorphism at a qualitatively new quantum level, considering the chemical elements of minerals (typo- morphism of chemical elements) as chromosomes of the organic world, to which in a certain order atoms (genes) are «strung», which make up the DNA of minerals (crystals). To decipher the DNA of the deposits, including thousands of genes, it is necessary to create the International Mineralogical Unity, the body coordinating these studies
