Annotation The article analyses the policy of public diplomacy which is carried out by the North Atlantic Alliance taking into account new political realities. It is noted that in the current context public diplomacy is an effective means of realization of the NATO strategic objectives in the sphere of foreign policy activities of the bloc. There are adduced a variety of forms of impact in establishing a positive image of the North Atlantic Alliance on foreign audience. Some advantages of the new instruments of public diplomacy and forms of its implementation in comparison with the traditional ones are specified
