Annotation In the article the algorithm of restoration of heat flux on the surface of non-uniform frozen ground at freezing — thawing is considered. Evaluating the thermal state of frozen soils under climate change and urbanization is an important task in geocryology. Disturbances to the natural environment lead to changes in geocryological conditions that threaten the stability of engineering structures. The accuracy of numerical modeling of the soil thermal regime can be increased by improving the boundary conditions. The errors in the determination of the thermal physical and mechanical characteristics and humidity of the investigated soil massif are influenced by the process of heat flux recovery. It is established that the recovery process is highly dependent on the height of the snow cover and ambient temperature
