| Annotation | In the article the author makes an attempt to classify and investigate the interaction of political parties and religion in the course of institutionalization. The relevance and significance of the issue is formulated. The article is aimed at examining theoretical and practical factors of institutionalization of two interrelated factors - political parties and religion. This decision has enabled to define the place and role of political parties and religion in the modern political process in a well-argued manner. The tendencies connected with different aspects of political party genesis are regarded. Special attention is paid to the detailed analysis of the role of institutional interaction of political parties and religion as part of social, economical and political current changes. The interaction between religion and political ideology is also observed. Specific cases from real political practice are given as an example. The author distinguishes various levels of reciprocal influence of religion and political parties in the institutional process. The article presents the comparative study of some aspects and tendencies of this process in particular regions of the world. To sum it up, the author makes a conclusion about the necessity of more thorough and detailed investigation of the issue under consideration in Russia today |
