Annotation The relevance of the article is due to the growing interest to the Baikal region and to medical and health tourism in particular. Increased attention to the tourism industry is associated with an increase in the tourist flow to the territory of Lake Baikal annually, both domestic tourism and visitors from other countries. This process leads to stricter requirements for the infrastructure and a list of services provided at recreation facilities. For medical and health tourism these requirements are even higher. It is connected with the organization of provision, including medical services. The article analyzes popular information resources in the region and identifies the main problems that currently exist in the information support of the given territory. The strategies for attracting clients have been identified, and the most appropriate directions for development have been identified for the region. The review of the state of medical and health tourism in the Baikal region is carried out; the main parameters of these processes most influenced by tourism are identified. The expediency of creating an information system of medical and health tourism based on the actor-network approach is substantiated. To systemize knowledge and visualize the obtained results, geo-information technologies were used. Based on the interpretation of spatial data, a map with semantic content was constructed, which is one of the key results of the research. A map with a shadowy relief and a segmented image of the existing health infrastructure of the Baikal region is presented in the work. Based on the constructed map and created model of medical and health tourism using the actor-network approach, the main conclusions were made about possible strategies for the development of the Baikal region in the field of health tourism. The presented research results in this article allowing us to identify the main directions of tourist flows associated with medical and recreational tourism in the Baikal region, which will allow to develop the infrastructure and create actual information resources
