When assessing the level of competitiveness of water transport companies, in particular seaports, a modified method based on the theory of effective competition and allowing the most complete consideration of various aspects and aspects of the company\'s production activities is proposed to use. An algorithm for calculating the integral indicator of competitiveness has been developed. Using the proposed algorithm, a quantitative assessment of the level of competitiveness of the logistics company JSC \"Sea Port of St. Petersburg\" in relation to one of its main competitors - JSC \"Petrolesport\" has been carried out, as a result of which its advantage in this indicator was established. As a result – an algorithm for calculating the integral indicator of the company\'s competitiveness level has been formed
