Mutually beneficial and large-scale trade and economic cooperation of the Russian Far East with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region is the general direction of the policy of the eastern vector of our state. China is currently Russia\'s largest partner in the East. How the relations between the two states are developing, what are their problems and prospects today, what has been achieved in seven years of \"turning to the East\" - topical issues of the implementation of the new policy. The object of the study is trade and economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and China. The subject is the current state and trends in the development of Russian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation in the context of Russia\'s policy of turning to the East. The purpose of the study is to analyze the development of trade and economic cooperation between the Russian Far East and China, to identify its trends, problems and prospects.
Research methodology. The principles of objectivity, universal connections, and development were applied in the work. The research tools were classical general scientific methods – theoretical, empirical, general logical. Analysis, synthesis, analogy, induction, deduction were also used. The authors explore the trade and economic relations of the Russian Far East and the People\'s Republic of China within the framework of the policy of turning to the East. The stages of this cooperation and its evolution are traced. Its problems at the present stage are revealed. The main directions and trends of trade and economic interactions between the two states are determined.
