Annotation The article is devoted to the study of the directions of infrastructural development of territories with resort specialization on the basis of balneological resources, the use of which can be promising not only in the conditions of the sanatorium-resort complex, but also related types of economic activity. The Perm Region has a significant balneological potential, a program approach to the development of which can become the basis for the investment development of resort medicine and individual resorts. The object of the study is the directions of commercial use of the balneological resources of the region. The purpose of the study is to determine the most popular types of economic activity using the balneological potential of the Perm Region. The objectives of the study include the assessment and justification of some business areas related to the development of resort medicine. Research methods: system and situational approaches, marketing analysis. In the course of the study, it was determined that the potential of the territories of the region can be used more effectively, as it is represented by unique therapeutic waters that can be used in various areas of services related to treatment, rehabilitation and rehabilitation. The state of the resources of the Perm Region from an economic point of view is characterized by an insufficient degree of involvement in the activities of the sanatorium-resort complex, the sector of paid medical and wellness services, which is based on cosmetic procedures, healthy nutrition. The systematic formation of a supply designed for various market segments will contribute to sustainable demand in the region and higher rates of recovery of financial and economic indicators of health resorts in the region
