Born on May 18, 1968 in Chita. In 1992 he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Russian State Pedagogical University. A.I. Herzen in St. Petersburg with a degree in History and Social Studies Teacher.
From 1992 to 1995 studied at the graduate school of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after. A. I. Herzen at the Department of History of Religion and Free Thought and worked as an assistant at the Chita State Pedagogical Institute at the Department of Social Sciences.
In 1995 he defended his Ph.D. thesis “The Church. Associations: creed, ideology and practice” (philosophy of religion).
From 2001 to 2005 was an employee and then head of the ethnography department at the Chita Regional Museum of Local Lore. A.K. Kuznetsova. From 2005 to 2011 – Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Theory and History of Culture of ZabSU.
In 2007, he entered doctoral studies and in 2011, at the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education of Transbaikal State University, he defended his doctoral dissertation “Religious myth-making in the everyday religiosity of the population of the Baikal region” (philosophy of religion and religious studies).
Since 2011, he has been the head of the scientific and educational museum center, and at the same time a professor at the Department of Philosophy of ZabSU.
Member since 2009, and from 2013 to 2019. – Chairman of the Council for Public and Religious Associations under the Ministry of Justice of the Trans-Baikal Territory. 2010 – member of the advisory council at the Office of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Communications, Information Technologies and Communications for the Trans-Baikal Territory.
Since 2012 – member of the dissertation council D212.299.04. Since 2014 – member of the dissertation council D212.299.06. Under the leadership of A.V. Zhukov, 9 dissertations for the title of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences on issues of religious studies and social philosophy were defended.
