The journal performs double «blind» review of all articles submitted to the editorial office for the purpose of expert evaluation. All reviewers are highly qualified specialists recognized in the scientific field of reviewed materials. Reviews are kept in the editorial office for 5 years. The journal sends copies of reviews to the authors of articles (with reasoned refusal), as well as, upon receipt of a corresponding request, to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, RAS and RSSR.
The main contents of the journal are original scientific articles devoted to actual problems of subsoil use, earth sciences and the environment, economics and political science.
