She graduated from Irkutsk State University in 1979, defended her candidate’s thesis in 1990, and her doctorate in 2011. In 2004, he was awarded the title of associate professor of the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia in the specialty “economic, social and political geography.”
Currently heads the laboratory of economic and social geography at the Institute of Geography. V.B. Sochava SB RAS.
