Professor of the Department of Political Sciences
Doctor of Political Sciences (dissertation topic “Specificities of political regulation of immigration processes in the modern world”, 2010, Ural State University). In 2002, he graduated with honors from the Master’s program at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology of the USU. In 2004, he defended his Ph.D. thesis (the topic of the dissertation is “The specifics of the influence of immigration on political processes in the Russian Federation and the United States of America”).
Since 2002, he regularly participates in international and all-Russian scientific schools and seminars on migration and international issues. He completed internships at university centers in Russia, Lithuania, Hungary, Switzerland, the USA, and Vietnam.
Author of more than 60 scientific publications devoted to the problems of global migration processes, current issues of world politics, in leading Russian and foreign scientific periodicals.
He has repeatedly received grant funding from Russian and foreign scientific foundations to conduct academic research, as well as to translate scientific literature.
He teaches courses: “World politics and international relations”, “Theoretical problems of world politics and international relations”, “Modern international political institutions”.
